Born in the Netherlands in 1979 Hester Wernert built quite an international reputation for herself. As the assistant of hair star Eugene Souleiman during Paris Fashion Week she works for top designers such as Yohji Yamamoto, Valentino and Stella Mc Cartney and in the Netherlands she is appointed ‘Chef de Cabine’ for many designers in the Amsterdam Fashion week including Jan Taminiau and Rodrigo Otazu, Iris v.Herpen. Represented by House of Orange she works for magazines such as Numero,Purple,W, L’official and fashion campaigns as Louis Vuitton and V&R.Her passion for hair surfaced already at the age of 4 giving her Barbie’s outrageous makeovers. At 15 she started her official training but it was at the London based Vidal Sassoon academy where she finally felt triggered. Hester’s drive for technical perfection is countered by a strong creative search and a life long obsession for braiding techniques. Hester won many prestigious awards such as the Coiffure Award Noord-Holland, Avantgarde , Press Award and The hairdresser of the year 2011. 2007 she started the Mogeen salon and Academy with her Business partner Siko v.Berkel and in she is since beginning 2011 Creative ambassador for Sebastian Professional in the Netherlands.
